Take Up the Whole Sky

With my January commitment in mind (to indulge in more creative projects), I excitedly agreed when my friend Lauren asked if I wanted to collaborate on a piece of video art. She's studying fine arts at Kenyon and is currently enrolled in a stop-motion animation class where their first assignment is to make a video using a series of still images. Lauren and I filmed each other dancing (lots of hair flips and hip rolls) and she's going to juxtapose these crazier, haphazard "dance" movements against footage of more banal tasks. Stay tuned.
